Synergy Land Services in the Community

At Synergy Land Services, our staff are active community members, volunteering on a variety of boards and committees, coaching kids’ sports teams and participating in charitable fundraising events. As well, Synergy Land Services sponsors a number of different industry events, as well as charities and sports organizations.

Synergy Sponsorships

Synergy sponsors many IRWA and CAPL functions and sporting events. We also donate to charitable organizations such as Jail n Bail, Underwear Affair, Movember, the Junior Dinos and UofC Dinos Men’s hockey teams.

Todd Elligson – “I currently sit on the Board of the Alberta Skeleton Association as a Director. I also volunteer as an official for the Canadian Association of Skeleton Officials at international skeleton races in Calgary.”


Luke Jeanson – “I volunteer at the Airdrie Christmas lights display and a variety of church activities.”


Wade Conner –“During the summers and before college in Olds, I volunteered as a soccer coach for one of the minor league soccer teams. I also volunteer some of my time to the Ag Society. There are a few seniors in town who I help with cutting grass, moving heavy or awkward objects, and maintaining their homes.”


Bill Giese“I am an active member of the IRWA, CAPL, and have previously sat on their boards. I volunteer on the Downtown Attractions Breakfast Committee, was a board member in my local community, and have volunteered as a minor hockey coach. Several times a year I volunteer with family at the Calgary Drop-in Centre.”


Gwen Giese – “I previously sat on pre-school and school councils. I have volunteered in the kids’ classrooms and manage my sons’ soccer teams. Several times a year I volunteer at the Calgary Drop-in Centre with my sons’ hockey teams and with friends and family at Christmas.”


Michelle St. Michael “I volunteer in the kids’ classrooms, participate in various school functions, fundraisers and on school councils.

I mentor local teens with life and career path development. I've volunteered for Calgary Street Teams, local food banks and homeless shelters, food and toy drives for local animal shelter/SPCA. I have volunteered time with our local hockey team and kids’ soccer teams.”


Nicole Young – “I have volunteered on the CAPLA events committee.”


Tanis Gray – “In the past, I have helped in a grade 2/3 class. I have been a volunteer with Barn Booster at the Great Canadian Barn Dance, helped with community events in Cardston, been involved with church groups for community clean-ups, and visiting the elderly in the hospital.”


Keith Turner“I am an active member of the IRWA executive and various events committees. I also volunteer to coach my kids' various sporting activities.”


Darcy Douglas - Every year I try to help coach a local community minor hockey team. I am also an active member with the IRWA.


Roger Van Haren - I have volunteered at high school cross country running and track meets, and help out with various church activities.


Brock Anderson - I have coached or assisted with coaching minor soccer locally for many years.  I am involved with other local sporting and community events and try to be active within my church and local schools when time is available.


Michelle Hedley - I enjoy being a volunteer and a committee member for a wide variety of church activities, including clean-up for the community of Fort Macleod. I have volunteered in the kids' classrooms and participated in many school functions / fundraisers. In the past, I have also been on the pre-school board, and coached my kids' soccer team.


Bruce Robertson - “I have volunteered to undertake public speaking judging for a local 4-H club.  The age groups are from about 12 - 16.”


Melissa LeBlanc - “I volunteered for a year at the Rocky View emergency room, at the Co-op Kids Club event at the Saddle Dome, the Co-op job fair and for my son’s hockey team.”


Katherine Done - “I volunteer for Fort Macleod Victim Services and I plan to volunteer with my dog for Search and Rescue teams in the fall.”
