KEY Responsibilities
point of contact on/before Crown Land Sale days, including, but not limited to:
answering phones/emails
issuing confirmation emails
preparing bid letters
providing Crown Land Sale cost estimates
preparing updates
preparing packages for representatives attending the Sale (MB or BC Crown Land Sales)
preparing and administering Crown Land Sale packages (cover letters, A&T Agreements, etc.)
preparing Crown Land Sale folders
printing and saving Public Offering Notices, results, etc. (P&NG and Oil Sands)
posting requests
handling industry notifications
handling transfers/assignments
handling third-party requests
regular reporting and invoicing (rentals, initial bid invoicing, etc.)
handling all Payor Name Change forms, LOA’s, Well Linking Applications, Surrenders, Cancellations, Continuation Application forms
reviewing all Information bulletins
updating the Synergy Land database
emailing marketing blasts, if required
overseeing annual Crown Land Sale calendar project
tracking revenue
Education, Skills and Experience:
grade 12 High School or equivalent
post-secondary education, or graduation from an accredited Land Administration program
two to five years’ Crown or Mineral Land Administration experience would be preferred
basic Crown Land Sale knowledge would be preferred
working experience with IRIS, ETS, BC ePayments and all other land information systems nationwide would be an asset to have
valid Commissioner for Oaths – Alberta (Saskatchewan and Manitoba an asset to have)
basic knowledge and understanding of Canadian/Provincial regulatory processes
basic knowledge and understanding of land systems and ability to learn new tasks quickly
excellent organizational skills
exceptional written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
adherence to the highest ethical and professional standards
self-motivated and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging work environment
acute attention to detail
strong computer proficiency (MS Office, Adobe) special attention will be paid to advanced Excel proficiency
ability to gain trust and cooperation of team members
ability to understand varying view points and manage conflict
proven ability to remain calm under pressure and effectively prioritize work flow, office needs, and coordinate various activities simultaneously
