Synergy Land Services Ltd. (Synergy) is pleased to offer an opportunity to join our busy team in the position of intermediate to senior land administrator.
Experience
The successful applicant must be qualified with four to 10 years of working knowledge and experience, outside the classroom environment and preferably within a broker office setting, as follows:
coach and mentor other administrators
set up new project files in database, enter updates and maintain project status
perform land title searches and registrations
perform corporate title searches
strong knowledge of and experience in Crown and freehold surface land practices and acquisition procedures
high level of accuracy in the preparation of all surface land-related documentation through to transmittal of completed packages, and the compilation/maintenance of client status reports
prepare requests for third-party agreements and consents
identify interested parties according to provincial regulations
perform self-audit of work output
high level of competency in the use of SPIN, ETS, CORES and Conservation Land Registry
strong knowledge of D56
proficient in analyzing and interpreting survey plans
commission documents as required
Qualifications
10+ years’ industry-related experience
diploma in Land Administration preferred
valid Commissioner for Oaths - Alberta
high level of integrity working with confidential documents and information
strong knowledge and understanding of Canadian/provincial regulatory processes
strong understanding of industry and provincial regulations
strong knowledge and understanding of land systems and ability to learn new tasks quickly
excellent organizational skills
self-motivated and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging work environment
strong team player with effective and open communication skills
strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
adherence to the highest ethical and professional standards
excellent attention to detail
proficiency in MS Office
